The Shaping

I impede the Kingdom
each time
I try to shape it.

With what dignity
is laced
that boy's face,
this old lady's slumped figure,
the close friend
I too often
take for granted.

O to be shaped
and reshaped-
to see
and feel
the richness of spirit,
the love.
