Some things
are best said
without words

- A truth rare
these tense,
noisome days.

Love and adoration
require at most,
on occasion,
a glance,
a silent embrace,
a sitting with,
a smile
sharing
that is real,
heart-blending,
spirit lifting,
deeper than mental sparring
or hasty words of absolutely no comfort
except
of sorts
to the speaker!
