You Are God's Dream

Genesis 1:27
Yes, you are a gift
from God's own hands,
to the world.

Your being
a unique expression
in your space,
your time,
of the Creator.

A sacrament
though perhaps doubting
through strengths and limitations,
fine qualities and darkest shadows,
courage and treacherous desertions,
     speaking of Another.

Dignity to be treasured
though tremblingly:
handle with gratitude
your shaping
of Love's dream.
