Exodus 3
Where do real dreams come from
- disturbing, inspiring
    firing the pilgrim
    as that long ago desert bush?

A call that echoes from God's own heart,
its source beyond imagining,
a flame in the wilderness
of brittle, bleached bones,
hollowed cries,
yesterday's dreaming,
residue of human effort
misplaced.

Of such,
yes, of such,
Spirit blessed,
are conflagrations made
that light the path
with a brilliant burning!
