is this journey's end, after our faithing, following, dreaming? Has freedom after slavery-anguish celebrating in laughter, dancing the sand, come to this? Would You bleed our little faith mercilessly in this desert heat buzzing with flies while all is carrion-searching, bone-bleaching, hyena-shrieking - all our futures sucked into this maddening sea of our tears? Grant stillness of racing heart, quietness of mind, to be companioned strongly where we could not otherwise tread. Ross lives in Canberra, Australia.
