Life's Covenant

If, when you find me, I have died
And, finally, life's covenant complied,
Please lay my soul next to the Cross
Where Christ has set a place for moss.

And since my mortal shell is through
Fret not your heart on what to do
But cast the carcass as you will
For I have no need of it still.

The form which now before you lies
Has cast its spirit to the skies
And as I was so shall remain
Within your heart - just call my name.
